Does Meditation Help You Lose Weight

Well it's Tuesday morning and it's time for me to get back on my weight loss diet plan. This weekend I did let myself go a little bit and take a little bit of a break.

Being very strict on your diet 7 days a week for each and every one of those twenty-four hours a day for a straight seven days can be difficult. And even though I have lost a tremendous amount of weight and people look at me and think that it's so easy for me, in reality it's not.

Because I have been eating a clean diet for so long I do not always get the cravings for the Cakes and Pastries and sweets like I did in the past. But at times of stress I always want to eat something that may not exactly be the best for me.

Of course I'm talking about something sweet like a candy bar or a scoop of ice cream. And let's not forget potato chips, pretzels and chocolate bars. Oops and I almost left out nachos, frozen yogurt and water ice. So even though I may not always physically crave unhealthy foods I do suffer from being a stress eater. When stress is high, that is when I crave the foods that are going to make me fat and even make my diabetes much worse.

And now that I finally am willing to admit that, I have realized that I now have to make an effort to reduce my levels of stress and strain. So I have started to implement some daily routines that will hopefully reduce my levels of stress during the day. One of the stress relievers that I have tried doing is meditation.

I have taken some classes on it and when I first took the classes I was really into it and I did it twice a day and 20 minutes for each of those sessions. And in the beginning when I first started I definitely set aside the time to do my morning and afternoon meditations. I did find my mood and attitude was much more relaxed and I was able to handle stressful situations much better. But I have to honestly tell you that finding two 20 minute sessions during the course of the day has become very difficult and I have stopped meditation.

And I do notice that my ability to cope with certain high pressure situations has taken a turn for the worse since I have stopped meditating. I also noticed that while I was meditating the dark bags that I had under my eyes totally disappeared the more I did my daily meditation. But since I have stopped meditating those bags have returned once again. So I am going to start meditating again! I am going to do a 20-minute session first thing in the morning and then I'm going to plan another 20 minutes meditation session sometime around lunch time.

One thing that I have to say is I am much more likely to do the meditation sessions if I scheduled them during the day. So just like I'm scheduling my consultations and appointments and therapy sessions with my clients and patients, I now schedule my meditation sessions in my appointment book. So I will let you know how this goes next week when I post again on the blog.

How To Break a Weight Loss Plateau

Sometimes in life do you ever feel like no matter how much you try and no matter how well you play and things that something always go wrong. Well today has been one of those things for me. Since I have been trying to lose weight I have planned out my meals for two days ahead of time.

I do not physically prepare the meals but I try to have everything together so that I could whip everything up very quickly. For breakfast this morning I planned to have a nice big cup of healthy fat coffee.

I used a French press to make my coffee and I used a nice combination of the coffee beans from Dunkin' Donuts and then I used some espresso coffee beans.

As everything was sitting nicely in the French press, the aroma of the coffee just filled the entire kitchen smelled so good. Then I got out my grass fed pastured butter (or you could use ghee) and my jar of virgin coconut oil and put everything into my Nutrabullet. And of course as soon as I start blending everything together there is a leak.

And my wonderful ketosis coffee is suddenly  splashing all over the place. Not only did it splash on me and the counter top but it's splashed on my computer where I was writing an article for my blog this morning. Suffice to say the article that I was originally planning on writing and posting has been replaced by the article that you are reading right now.

So, after I cleaned up the mess that I made; I sat down for a few minutes and enjoyed my delicious healthy fat coffee. And I even made extra so that I could take it with me and enjoy it throughout the day. My plan is to have this coffee as my source of fuel, energy the only food that I eat until lunchtime. A

nd I plan on having a late lunch. I will probably have lunch around 1 PM or 2 PM today. The weather is a bit nasty today. It's rainy, damp and windy. It's definitely not the type of warm sunny day that I was expecting as we are going into the second week of April.

So instead of my wife meeting me at Panera bread for a lunch date I will probably just go home and have lunch with her. My wife makes an awesome low carb egg salad for me, with hard-boiled eggs and she prepares a low-carb sugar-free mayonnaise. You can actually find this recipe for the low-carb sugar-free mayonnaise on this blog somewhere.

If I have time and I can find the recipe I probably should just post it with this article today.

So that's what I plan on having for lunch;  the low carb egg  salad with low-fat no sugar mayonnaise probably plus another cup of coffee with some half-and-half or heavy whipping cream and a few drops of liquid Stevia.

This past weekend I was lucky and just happened upon a store that had sugar-free vanilla syrup. Normally I have to order this from Amazon if I want to get something special like this because the stores in my local area do not carry such awesome tasting foods that are sugar-free.

So for dinner I am going to have salmon with some roasted brussels sprouts and I was planning for  dessert I'm going to make a great cup of cappuccino and I'm going to add in the sugar-free vanilla syrup. And hopefully I will not make another mess while preparing it.

For my weigh in this morning I weighed 169.5 pounds. I would really like to get down to 165 pounds again. But for some reason I have been having a very difficult time getting below 168 pounds.

I noticed that my legs are a bit more muscular as compared to when I was 165 pounds so I really do think that the extra weight is coming from my leg muscles. When I gave my wife a hug this morning she complained that my upper torso was too bony. She can actually felt my ribs and my clavicles so I don't think I am fat.

Although my abs are not as cut as they are when I'm closer to 165 lbs. But just for me personally I feel much better when I am 165 pounds. So I am going to put some extra effort into getting back to the body weight again.

I have been looking on my computer for that sugar-free low carb mayonnaise recipe but I have not been able to find it. And it's so much easier just to go to the supermarket and buy sugar free mayonnaise.

So if you are into making your own low carb food you can search my blog here and you will find the recipe or just buy the sugar free version at the supermarket.

And just because it's one of those days I might enjoy some sugar-free Jell-O with my cappuccino at the end of the day. I'm going to  try to keep my diet very tight and clean for the next week to get down to 165 pounds and if that doesn't work I am probably going to have to add some low intensity cardiovascular exercise like walking.

The plan for at least the next 3 days is to have for my breakfast the healthy fat coffee and for maybe one or even two days I will have that for lunch also and not eat until dinner time. whenever I get in these little plateaus of weight loss I usually do a 24-hour fast.

I do not starve myself; it just means that at the end of one day I have my dinner and I do not eat until dinner the next day. But I do enjoy my good healthy fat coffee throughout the day of my fasting period.

Every so often I will do this for 2 days back to back but I only do this when I am desperate because the weight is just not coming off or my blood sugar levels are very high.

I hope you all enjoyed this article please come back next week and I will have some more health and wellness tips for you.

Best Weight Loss Plan Recipes in Philadelphia PA

Hello everyone in this article I am going to be giving you some really good recipes that I found from going to local restaurants and bakeries in the Philadelphia region.

These recipes are delicious and we're going to also go over some of the smoothies that I enjoyed at some of our local Philadelphia smoothie shops and we're also going to be giving you recipes for some awesome breakfast omelets that I loved from some of the diners in the Philadelphia region.

So just sit back relax and take note of all these fantastic recipes.  I hope you enjoy them because I certainly did.

The whole thing is with these recipes when I had them at these restaurants and diners and bakeries they were loaded with lots of calories so I tried to make them into nice delicious low-calorie version of these meals.

Some of them are going to be 200 calories or even a little bit less than 200 calories and then others are going to be upwards of 200 calories maybe going up to 400 calories or a little bit over or under 400 calories.

The ones that are a little bit higher in calories have a little bit of an extra punch to them as far as flavor and things like that. The breakfast omelet recipes are very low in calories because eggs are probably one of the best foods for us to be eating as far as nutrition, staying fit and even if you want to lose weight.

Eggs are loaded with lots of good healthy protein, good healthy fats and the calorie level is very low. A large eggs has maybe about 70 calories or something like that. As you know normally I will just enjoy a nice cup of coffee for breakfast with some grass-fed butter and a tablespoon or two tablespoons of coconut oil.

I always found this to be very satisfying but I noticed that recently my blood sugar levels have not been as good as they have been in the past. So I started adding a couple eggs to my breakfast in the morning and I actually stopped doing the coconut oil and butter in my coffee first thing in the morning.

So I'm doing a little bit of an experiment on myself seeing which menu which foods will help maintain my body weight below 170 pounds and will also keep my blood sugar levels within normal limits.  If you are one of my subscribers and read this blog every week or so you know that throughout the week my body weight might fluctuate anywhere from one hundred and sixty-three pounds all the way up to 170 pounds.

Now I consider this normal because most of the week I follow a very strict diet I follow a diet that is high in fat good health and low in carbohydrates but my willpower is not really big a strong as it has been in the past. So for 5 days I follow a very tight diet and then 2 days of the week I am more loose with my diet by eating a little more starchy carbohydrates.

But of late, I have been munching on French fries, popcorn even some bread if we go out to dinner or go to a friends for dinner or something like that. So I know that my willpower has been slacking, in that has been a reason for my sugar increase probably especially at night. I mean the Mrs. and I went out yesterday and for lunch and for dinner I had a double bacon cheeseburger with an order of french fries.

Now this is definitely not a healthy way to eat. Maybe having one of these a week is fine but I actually had two of these carb and sodium loaded meals in one day. Suffice to say I was 6 pounds heavier than next day. I was the heaviest that I have ever been in quite some time. I actually was 174 pounds so I really have to start getting my stuff together again. So for today I am going to keep a really clean diet.

My lovely wife just made me 2 large eggs and of course I had a cup of coffee with that but I just mixed it with half and half and a little bit of heavy whipping cream. I would have used just the heavy whipping cream but I only had about a teaspoon of that and I really like my coffee extra light.

It's funny I like the dark roast and Columbian roast coffee and even the espresso coffee but I do like to mix my creamer in there. In my mind it's okay because if I'm using the heavy whipping cream it has lots of good healthy fat and that should hopefully help keep my sugar and insulin levels lower.

So for me today my breakfast is going to be these two eggs and for my lunch I'm actually going to try to skip lunch today I'm going to try to do a little bit of intermittent fasting where for today I'm just going to do two full meals.

I'm just going to eat these two eggs for breakfast, and I am going to have coffee throughout the day of course with half and half and some Splenda or Stevia and I'm going to drink lots of water during the entire day it's going to be my goal to drink 100 ounces of water today.

I did some reading and I read that we should be drinking half of our body weight in ounces of water and then if you're drinking something like coffee or soda or something other than water that we should actually drink that same amount in water so because I usually drink at least 20 ounces of coffee every day I'm going to be trying to drink an additional 20 ounces of water in addition to the 80 ounces of water that I try to drink every day normally.

So I hope this works and hopefully and if it does I will be several pounds lighter tomorrow morning when I wake up. Now because I ate my meals at restaurants yesterday and because they were probably loaded with salt, (the french fries definitely had lots of salt in them and when you get hamburgers at at the restaurant they usually have lots of salt and then even when you eat chicken out at the restaurants and diners if they are usually loaded with sodium as well; it makes them look plump and juicy and it makes it look like you're getting a whole lot more for your money than  you really are) and I know this and I should not have eaten both of these meals yesterday but sometimes stuff happens and you just don't follow the diet plan 100% perfectly.

But I know that even though I messed up yesterday and I over-indulged with my food intake and not eating the right types of food that if I follow my usual recipe plan for today like I have just laid out for you, a few sentences ago, that I should hopefully be anywhere from three or even four pounds lighter tomorrow.

Again I'm sure a lot of the weight I've gained has been from water weight from the salty food that I ate yesterday. And because of this I'm going to make sure that I'm drinking extra water today in order to flush that extra water out of me. In my personal experience when I feel that I'm over bloated and that I'm retaining too much water from having too much sodium in my diet that by drinking a whole lot of extra water and following a very clean diet for a few days this helps get rid of that water weight very nicely.

I know some people do exactly the opposite they stop drinking water and this is the worst thing to do because your body needs water. In fact some of our weight loss clients the only thing that I did with their diet plan is I had them increase their water intake and then they lost five or six pounds immediately without even changing their regular eating habits.

They were following a pretty good diet but they were drinking soda, but I will say that were drinking diet soda so that's not as bad but you still need to drink regular water in order for your body to get all the benefits of it.

Okay, I know you are saying enough stop talking give us the recipes. I am sorry for going on but I feel really guilty for what I did yesterday with my eating and the weight that I have gained today so I just had to get it off my chest.

But in addition to me just venting and trying to get rid of some of the guilt that I have from not eating properly and gaining so much weight; I put all of this on this blog so that you my faithful subscribers realize that everyone slips up when it comes to diet.

Even though my job is to help people achieve Wellness, Health and more often than not that includes losing weight, even though it's what I do for a living, that I still have bad days. I call these days hiccups.

So every once in awhile it's normal for everyone to get a case of the eating hiccups and eat foods that are not so good for them and gain some extra weight. The only problem is that it's really easy to pack on these extra pounds. You can do it in the course of just one day or possibly even two but it usually takes double the amount of time to get those extra pounds off of your body.

For me I try to keep these hiccup days to a minimum but like I said it's been a little bit difficult for me lately and I do know better but I guess it's just a mental thing. I've been eating so perfectly and so clean for such a long time that I guess I am just letting down my hair so to speak and not being so perfect.

The good thing is that even though my sugar level has been increasing a little bit it's not totally out of control. My sugar levels are still good but they are not as good as when I was following a perfect diet. I do admit I have been indulging a little bit more on the weekends with some food that I have not eaten in quite some time and I know that I should definitely stop this if I want to maintain my goal sugar levels and my goal body weight.

And this just reinforces what I tell all of my weight loss and health clients; that losing weight and being healthy is not about just a diet. It's not about following a nutrition or a weight loss plan for 30 days and getting some phenomenal results and then blowing it all up by eating and drinking whatever you want.

If you do that you'll just go back to the same body weight and same level of health and fitness as you did before you started the weight loss plan. So it's truly about making a change of Lifestyle.

So once in awhile you're going to take a little vacation from this healthy lifestyle and that's not such a big deal it's not a problem just as long as you know what you're doing and after a little bit of not doing things exactly as your weight loss plan calls for that you realize what you are doing; that you understand what you are doing and hopefully you know why you are doing it and you get it under control and you get back into doing everything you need to do to maintain the healthier lifestyle.

And now here we go, here are the great recipes that I told you about.

Veggie and Bacon Omelet
Starting your day with a delicious omelet loaded with lots of good healthy veggies extra protein and your good healthy fats is a fantastic way to start today and get you into fat burning mode.
Ingredients:
Chopped asparagus - 10 stalks
One quarter cup of water
Bacon - 4 slices chopped up
extra-virgin olive oil - one tspn
3 eggs
Shredded cheese - one quarter cup
Salt - 1/8 tsp
Ground pepper - 1/8 teaspoon

Cover and cook the bunch of asparagus with the water until it’s a bit soft. Start by having the water and asparagus boil and then once it is boiling cover the pan and let it cook for approx 2 min or so or until the asparagus is a little soft. Once it starts to boil it will probably take another 2 minutes or so until it’s soft. Then take the cover off and just let it cook until the water evaporates. This normally takes 1-2 min more. Then we add the oil and bacon to the pan and mix nicely. You can also add 1 tsp of butter to the pan to help prevent sticking. Once the butter has melted add the eggs and let it cook. You want to stir occasionally until the egg is firm and then add the cheese, pepper and salt. You can add the remaining water if needed if it dries out to quickly. You can then cover the pan and allow everything, cheese, etc… to melt and blend nicely. Cook until it’s all cooked thoroughly all the way through. This has approx 200 calories.

Herbal Omelet
This omelet reminds me of the delicious Sunday morning breakfast that my grand-mom Sophia would make.
Onion - one cup diced
Water - one quarter cup
extra-virgin olive oil - one tsp
large eggs - 3
One teaspoon of dried oregano
salt - ⅛ tsp
cheese - 2 tbsp

Let's start by sauteing the  onion in the ¼ cup of water until the onion is soft and cook until the water has evaporated, then add the olive oil and continue to cook until the onion is browned a bit and next we add the eggs and stir occasionally, mixing everything together nicely. Finally add the cheese and other ingredients - cover and let it melt together nicely. This has about 200 calories.

Banana Cocoa Smoothie
Coconut milk - one whole cup
unsweetened cocoa powder - two tbsps
Stevia or any sugar substitute - to taste
1 small banana
Combine all the ingredients into the blender and enjoy.

Fruit and Yogurt Parfait
full fat organic greek yogurt  - one cup
1/2 cup of  blueberries or any other fruit that you choose
cinnamon - one tsp
Put the yogurt in a glass then put the fruit on top of the yogurt and sprinkle the cinnamon over everything.

Morning Good Taco
Warm and soften two whole wheat tortillas topped with with one tbsp of salsa and two tbsps of shredded cheese until the cheese is melted. At the same time you should be cooking (scrambling) two to three eggs and then divide the eggs over top of the tortillas. Then enjoy these delicious tacos.

What's The Best Diet and Weight Loss Pills?

What is the best weight loss pill medication?

Is one of the most common questions that most people ask. Everyone has a different opinion but if you speak to most of the medical weight loss doctors in the area the majority of them will recommend the appetite suppressant medication Phentermine as the best weight loss pill and appetite suppressant medication.

Phentermine is one of the original medications that was used for helping people to lose weight. Over the course of time Phentermine has been proven to be safe and effective in helping people lose weight by decreasing her appetite, hunger and cravings.

How Much Does Phentermine Cost?
Phentermine is the generic for the name brand weight-loss medication called Adipex. Adipex has been on the market and used by medical doctors for so long that the generic version Phentermine is very affordable for most people who need help losing weight.

Even though most of the medical community now realizes that obesity and being overweight is a disease most insurance companies do not easily pay for weight loss and diet medications. And this is strange because being overweight can cause so many different health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure and the insurance companies definitely pay for your medication for your high blood pressure when your diabetes but so many people would be prevented from possibly getting these diseases if they lost weight and improved their overall health.

It seems that the insurance companies would rather pay for a life-threatening conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes when you get them and probably do not have that much long to live because of these illnesses rather than being supportive in taking a preventive approach by helping you losing weight and paying for medications that will help control your hunger and your appetite and actually do some good by helping you lose weight.

The good thing is that because Phentermine is a generic medication it's very affordable for most people.

What Types of Health Problems are Caused by Being Overweight?

Being overweight, obesity is a serious health issue. Most people think that people are overweight because they eat too much but medical science is making tremendous advances when it comes to treating obesity and they have discovered that most people are overweight because of some type of chemical or hormone issue in their bodies. Plus a lot of people are overweight just because of the theory genetic predisposition a lot of people are overweightjust because of the their genetic predisposition to being overweight; in other words it's in their genes.

If you look at people that are overweight more often than not their parents siblings and even and uncles and cousins are overweight. It also can be caused by the type of the environment that you grow up in.

I know for me growing up that breakfast lunch and dinner consisted of starchy carbohydrates.  Like bread, pasta and rice. We did not have a lot of money on those types of food for cheap. Spaghetti was $0.99 a pound and to feed our family it was an amazing thing that you can spend $4 and feed our entire family a dinner that totally stuffed us.

And I have to say that this is probably the reason why most of my family was overweight. We were poor and we ate the types of food that are inexpensive and they did not provide much nutritional value.

They were loaded with empty calories that just made us fat. They did satisfy our appetite but as it turns out that type of food really just dumped a tremendous amount of sugar into our body and when you have a tremendous load of sugar all at once into your body, eventually you're going to crash and then you need another burst of sugar in your system. So that explains why we were eating 24/7.

In today's world there are lots of people trying to tell you what to eat and how to exercise in order to be healthy but most of their information is just designed for them to make a quick profit.

Most of their information is not designed on science and there is no clinical evidence supporting the majority of what they are telling you to do.

I have so many people that come into our Weight Loss Clinic and they have spent thousands of dollars on so many different programs. Some of them are doing low carb, all then there are those are doing a low fat and even lots of people are doing programs were there only eating 500 calories a day.

Personally I did try the 500 calorie-a-day diet but I was hungry all of the time and my hair became very thin and I started to lose hair and I lost a tremendous amount of muscle so that I really look like I was just an anorexic person if I was nothing but skin and bones.

So for me and for our weight loss clients the 500 calorie diet program is definitely out the window. I will not even discuss such a horrible program with any of her weight loss clients.

And I have to tell you that it's for a person's own safety that we do not go to such low calorie levels. Most females seem to do well on 1200 to 1400 calories weight loss programs and most men do well on about 1600 to 1800 calories per day. But this does depend on your metabolism, body type and amount of physical activity. So there is no cookie cutter plan that works for everyone. there is a basic weight loss plan to start with based on good nutrition then each weight loss plan is tweaked for each person for their particular needs.

Everything in our weight loss program from the weight loss pills and diet pills that we use with our weight loss clients, the diets and exercise plans are all based on science and the chemistry of how the body works. Of course the medications that we use have been approved by the FDA.

If you need help with losing weight you should talk with a medical weight loss doctor.

Diet Pills in Philadelphia Help Eliminate Appetite & Cravings

For me losing weight is not easy. No matter what anyone tells you, if you like food, if you enjoy food, if you really enjoy eating large quantities of food and gobbling down huge portion sizes like I do trying to lose weight really stinks. I have a very large appetite and if I did not take the diet pills I would not be able to lose weight.

The weight loss diet pills appetite suppressant medications totally get rid of my appetite. The weight loss pills curb my hunger my appetite and my cravings.

I am NOT hungry at all when I take the diet pills. The diet pill that works the best for me is phentermine. I have tried all of the other diet drugs but as far as my personal choices to phentermine is what totally eliminates my appetite cravings and hunger.

When I take the weight loss pills I am NOT hungry and I am able to eat the right amount of food for me that will keep me going keep me functioning properly and I don't get tired or anything like that. & I always lose weight when I take the appetite suppressant medications.

But when I stopped taking them end life gets in my way. All the stresses of daily life between work family friends you name it h and every stress that we all go through each and every day of our lives it totally makes me crazy and I look forward to putting some yummy food in my mouth. There's nothing I love more than cheese steaks but everybody I know is making me nothing but fatter and fatter.

I had a big discussion with my medical weight loss doctor and I told him when I am stressed out all I want to do is feed my face. The only thing that calms me down and makes me happy is food.

My weight loss doctor understood and he told me that it's okay if I do need to take the weight loss appetite suppressant medications during times of high stress.

He said that one of the worst things that I can do for my health was being overweight and becoming what they classify as an obese person. He claims that obesity can lead to heart attack, stroke and all types of serious health issues that could wind up killing me eventually.

So he said that it was okay for me to take the weight loss medications and drugs when I'm having difficulty controlling my hunger and my appetite. He told me that some people because of their chemistry in their body will need to be on the medication permanently.

He said it's just a chemical thing in the human body some people just need to take their weight loss medications in order to keep their appetite under control. He said that the medical profession is finally taking obesity seriously and they are listing it as a long term life type of illness or disease and they're finally prescribing drugs for people to take for weight loss long term for the rest of the life just like they would be taking for high blood pressure or for diabetes or other really serious health diseases.

So when he told me this I felt a lot more comfortable with continuing taking the appetite suppressant medications.

My weight loss doctor has a really good program and they taught me everything they told me portion control, they talk to me the types of foods to eat and especially what not to eat and they also showed me how to swap out a lot of the bad foods that I really enjoyed for good healthy foods that will satisfy my hunger and satisfy all my nutritional needs.

But even armed with all of this great information and education I just can't help myself that when I am under a large amount of stress I just want to eat. And my diet doctor told me that I am NOT the only one that this happens to.

You said a lot of his patients are stress eaters and that in today's society we are under stress each and every day of the week. It seems that we are under stress almost 24 hours a day every 7 days of the week.

And he told me that it is much more commonplace now for people to be on medical weight loss medications for long term as compared to 30 years ago when people would just kind of take medications for 3 or 4 months and then stopped taking them and then after about 6 months or so they would go back on the medications.

So after hearing him and tell me that people long ago with stop taking the medication and then eventually start taking them again it didn't really bother me that much. It sounded to me that nothing has really changed over the course of several decades. It's just that now the medical profession has realized that some people do need to be on the medication permanently for the rest of their lives.

Even though the doctor has told me all of this it's still kind of frustrating because I really like food.

And I like tasty food and for some reason the tasty food always seems to be the food that makes us the fattest.

Lucky for me my diet doctor has given me lots of good recipes and meal plans. The weight loss recipes are actually quite good some of them are really simple and easy to make and others are a little bit more involved if I have the time and feel like spending time in the kitchen.

But I am happy to say that most of these recipes can be made in just a few minutes sure they're fast quick easy simple and delicious and this all works perfectly fine for me.

My bariatric doctor also has recipes for lots of great tasting desserts that will not put a fat on me.

Most of them are low carb and low sugar so that means I can eat them and enjoy myself and not go crazy feeling guilty that I'm going to make myself fat the doctor said that these recipes or even good for people that are diabetic because they are other low carb low sugar or they have literally no sugar in them so they won't spike anyone's insulin so they are great weight loss diabetic recipes.

He has recipes all over the place he gave me a diet recipe booklet, he has recipes on his website, weight loss recipes on his YouTube channel and he even has weight loss recipes on Pinterest so the doctor was really into social media and everything with today's technology and internet stuff.

It seems that I can skip breakfast most of the time and be okay with this but I definitely have to eat a lunch and most of all I like eggs and bacon for lunch this seems to satisfy my appetite really well and it's good for me but sometimes I just need to have my belly feel like it totally stuffed so when I am in this type of mood I'll going to have a very large salad with lots of vegetables and a little bit of blue cheese dressing on the side.

And make sure that I eat lots of good healthy grains like spinach, cal, arugula and every other possible leafy green vegetables that you could possibly think of. I have to tell you I think that my salad weighs about 2 or 3 pounds the cost is so large but all I can say is that after eating this tremendous salad that my appetite is totally gone and I am skinny or the next day. And my diet doctor told me that eating lots of vegetables would make me more healthy and make me skinnier so I guess I am following the doctor's orders.

In fact I have personally discovered that eating lots of vegetables is one of the primary ways for me to keep my appetite satisfied, my belly filled in for me to get skinny. So I would highly recommend that you eat lots of green vegetables every day. I would actually recommend that you eat every type of vegetable everyday.

But I do have to be honest with you trying to eat the right way can be difficult especially since most of us are busy with either work or family each and every day. And of course for us to be healthy and lose weight or maintain our weight loss we do have to eat the proper way.

If we don’t we will just continue to gain weight, get fat and get diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attack and even stroke. So this is a big motivator for you to lose weight and stay healthy.

And for me giving this is especially easy when I’m taking the phentermine diet pills. I know I have been talking about the weight loss pills quite a bit in this article but I just cannot stress enough how easy they make losing weight for me and allow me to make the right food choices because I’m not constantly hungry when I am taking the weight loss pills

I have to say that I am  all in for eating healthy if it’s going to make me skinny but lots of times it takes too much effort to do all of this. It requires time to go food shopping and most of the time I am either working or taking care of family things. And on top of food shopping most food requires lots of preparation and cooking time. This is why I love my Philadelphia weight loss doctors program they give me lots of healthy  recipes that are quick and easy to make and they taste really good.
I hate to say it but most people are fat because they don’t have the time to prepare the right types of food and they are usually eating foods that come out of a box and  loaded with sodium, sugar, carbohydrates and lots of chemicals that I cannot even pronounce the names of them.
Here are a few ways that I have been able to maintain a diet that is conducive to me losing weight and keeping it off.
First I always give my body some type of fuel first thing in the morning. Most people think breakfast should usually be oatmeal and toast and orange juice. But for me this type of breakfast only makes me hungrier and makes me fatter.
So for me more often than not breakfast is just a couple coffee and I put a tablespoon of grass fed butter and a tablespoon of coconut oil in there. This usually takes care of my appetite and gives me energy until  lunch time rolls around.

If I am really hungry first thing in morning I will probably make a breakfast of organic eggs and some leafy green vegetables like salt teach spinach or something like that. I definitely stay away from microwavable oatmeal and cereals that come in a box and are loaded with sugar.
Some people like having fruit first thing in the morning but this is in for me. I find that when I eat fruit first thing in the morning I wind up weighing more at the end of the day. And you definitely want to stay away from cakes and pastries donuts etc. first thing in the morning.
Next I try my best to plan out what I’m going to be eating throughout the course of the day. Sometimes this works but it doesn’t always. Because every day seems to be filled with different surprises in emergencies and little fires that have to be put out. So for me it’s always a good idea for me to have a small bag of carrots.

Carrots are nice because there are good healthy vegetable, they are little bit sweet tasting and I can get a small bag in a supermarket on my way into work every morning. As far as planning my dinners at home I always make sure to have some good type of protein. I especially like cold water fish and beef that is marbled very nicely.
Next I try to drink lots of water every day. It took me a while to realize that most of the time I am thirsty instead of hungry. So instead of buying a quick slice of  pizza and shoveling it down get a 20 ounce bottle of water and drink that and let’s see if that eliminates your appetite.  And when I say Warder I mean good old H2O not soda or coffee.
I do eat out quite often but when I do I make sure I go to restaurants that  can accommodate my nutritional needs. I make sure that they have a good variety of salads and that most of their meals and dishes are made from scratch.
Lots of restaurants nowadays have calorie charts for each and everything on their menu but for me I like to stick to the fresh salads with lots of vegetables and some type of grilled fish or beef. For my side dishes I may only go for vegetables. Just be careful that your side dishes are not  cooked with sugar type glazes. And for dessert make sure that they have good fresh different varieties of fruit.
Now for me alcohol is a NO 98% of the time. Not only does alcohol convert into sugar and cause most of the food that you’re eating why you were drinking alcohol to be stored as body fat but it also slows down the fat burning processes of your body for about 72 hours.
So for me I rather give up having a glass of wine and keep my body primed as a fat burning machine. Now on occasion because I am over 21 years old I might treat myself to a little glass of wine or something like that but this might only be once a month or even once every 2 months. But that’s your decision.
In my next article I’m going to share with you a few weightless recipes of some of the best meals that I have had on my journey to losing weight.
